The Clip-On Design
Cayla sits discreetly at the front of your toilet, secured by a universal mounting clip. No plumbing or DIY required. Ready to go within a few seconds. During a reading Cayla searches for the closest device assigned to a user and associates the result with them. If in the unlikely case it picks up on another device the reading can be reassigned on the app.
Intelligent Detection
An onboard temperature sensor identifies the start of a flow instantly, triggering the internal micro-pump to take a sample, ensuring the device is activated passively and only by urine (not when you flush).
Cutting-edge Accuracy
Cayla uses aptamer sensors, which are specially designed DNA strands that bind to the hormone and release an electrical signal which we can measure. Offering the most accurate hormonal reading in consumer products.
The Clean-Cycle
After every reading, the device pulses a small amount of cleaning solution through the system, refreshing the sensors and flushing the tubing so every test is as sterile as the first.
The power of DNA
Cayla uses aptamer technology, artificial DNA strands that bind to specific hormones. As they bind, they generate an electrical signal that we measure to determine the levels of each hormone.
